Epilogica

Epilogica developed the world's most comprehensive and intelligent Epidemiological Information System (EpiS). It features Operational and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Blocks that help governments around the world to protect public health and economy against epidemics. EpiS Operational Block is based on the open-source National Disease Surveillance System, EIDSS, developed by Epilogica’s founders under $50 million project funded by the US Government and implemented in 7 countries in 2003-2016. The Block is responsible for real time data collection and feedback across all levels of government epidemiological services. Since independent operations of Epilogica in 2016, it has enhanced EIDSS and added proprietary operational modules. These new modules integrate EpiS with primary health-care clinics and hospitals, perform Big Data analytics, and establish Emergency Operations Centers at local, regional and federal levels. EpiS AI Block uses Deep Neural Networks and Machine Learning among other approaches to forecast and analyze epidemics and associated risks, as well as to do early outbreak detection. Since 2016 Epilogica deployed EpiS at several local and regional epidemiological services in Russia. Epilogica is a participant of Skolkovo Foundation Biomedical Cluster as of 2020. With the COVID-19 pandemics the world needs to dramatically improve control and forecasting of epidemics, and no one in the world can rival Epilogica’s team expertise and EpiS system capabilities to do that.
