Epuka Ugaidi Organisation

Epuka Ugaidi is a non-governmental, youth-based civil society organization based in Nairobi, established in 2015 at the peak of radicalization and recruitment into the outlawed Violent Extremist Groups. Starting off as an online engagement platform to counter violent extremist narratives used to target online audiences, Epuka Ugaidi has since managed to incorporate both virtual and physical approaches in preventing and countering violent extremism. The plague of physical and online radicalization into violent extremist organizations hit Kenya decades ago and in the face of several terrorist attacks targeting unsuspecting masses, it became imperative for civil society to join in the fight.
