Eqstra Holdings listed on the main board of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange in May 2008 after unbundling from Imperial Holdings. Eqstra’s core business is the distribution, long-term lease and rental of mobile capital equipment and the provision of related value-added annuity services to clients in the construction, mining, industrial and commercial sectors in South Africa, the rest of Africa, the United Kingdom and Ireland. Value is created for clients by providing equipment and support services which are vital for the efficient functioning of their core operations. Value is created in Eqstra through its ability to extract optimal value throughout the equipment lifecycle.
