Equilibria Wellness and Performance is a mobile service offering non-invasive and pain free healing therapies for large and small animals. I use MagnaWave PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic fields) and Cold Laser therapy to improve circulation and oxygenation, decrease pain and inflammation, promote tissue and bone healing, accelerate recovery from exercise, and improve overall health and wellness. Briefly, PEMF uses magnetic fields to recharge damaged or energy depleted cells (a results of stress, illness, and aging), so they can function optimally, allowing the body to better heal itself. PEMF also stimulates better blood flow throughout the body, increasing oxygenation and decreasing inflammation. Cold laser therapy uses specific wavelengths of light to energize cells, which reduces pain and inflammation, promotes cellular repair and proliferation, and accelerates healing. Devon is a certified MagnaWave practitioner for horses, pets, and humans. She received her Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from Stonehill College and a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from Brown University, where she has worked for 10 years in a neuroscience research laboratory.
