Equip, Inc. is a training and missionary sending organization. We have offices in Marion, North Carolina and on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. Equip was organized in 1983, but our missionary training program began in 1989. Over the years, people have taken advantage of the seminars Equip offers. These individuals have come to us from numerous mission agencies and have gone from here to serve the Lord in many different countries around the world. You may already be trained as a specialist in a specific vocation. Equip will build upon that training and make you into a “generalist” - having a range of basic, practical skills that you can teach to others, thereby opening the door for you to share the Gospel. Our concise yet thorough program will prepare you to share your faith; but it will also prepare you to share information that addresses the most basic of physical needs: how to produce food, how to prevent disease, how to provide medical assistance, and how to promote community health and development. The courses that we offer are Missionary Medicine Intensive, Community Health Evangelism, Water Filtration Tech, Well Drilling Technologies, Pumping Water Tech, Food Production and Energy Efficient Shelter.
