Equip Leadership

EQUIP Leadership® is a non-profit organization specializing in training and mobilizing effective Christian leaders. Founded by brothers John and Larry Maxwell in 1996, EQUIP® is dedicated to developing servant leaders who shoulder responsibility, meet challenges with courage and creativity and never relinquish their God-given dreams. We believe that every person is born with the potential to influence others. From church leaders to government leaders, educators to marketplace leaders, we are training a global vanguard of men and women who are stepping forward to effectively confront the greatest needs on our planet. With the completion of the Great Commission as their priority, these devoted leaders follow the leadership development model demonstrated by Jesus of Nazareth—during His public ministry, Jesus spent the greatest amount of His time training a group of leaders to impact the world. EQUIP has trained over 6 million leaders through the Million Leader Mandate in 196 countries. Having laid a foundation of Biblical servant leadership worldwide in, EQUIP is now focused on the Salt & Light Global Initiative, a strategy to equip and mobilize believers to reach unchurched people with the gospel of Jesus Christ. This transformation movement will impact individuals, families, businesses, communities and even entire nations. There are numerous ways to become involved with Salt and Light. Volunteer Associate Trainers are needed to train roundtable facilitators in Salt & Light conferences around the world. Individuals, churches and businesses are invited to become Salt and Light partners in helping to raise up facilitators and roundtables resulting in one million new believers by 2022.
