EQUITABLE ENGINEERING uses Cad-Cam engineering, statistical controls and nearly 60 years experience to manufacture a wide variety of precision gears, splines and Curvic Couplings®. Open capacity is available on two shifts of CNC turning, milling, gear hob and shaping equipment. Gear, spline and curvic grinding is also in production 18 hours a day. EQUITABLE's capabilities include turning to 24" diameter, gear/spline hobbing to 16" diameter, gear/spline shaping to 36" diameter, Curvic Couplings® to 48" diameter and internal/external gear grinding to 24". Modified gear forms, unusual tooth leads, chamfers and crowns are accurately machined with EQUITABLE designed and built gear finishing equipment. EQUITABLE's square foot facility is temperature controlled and houses two gear inspection areas, a nital etch lab, a secured raw material crib, bonded MRB room, magnetic particle inspection unit, a stress relieve furnace, gear hone and dynamic balancing equipment.
