Erasmus Risk Consulting is an independent consultancy principally focused on supporting small and medium-sized asset and wealth managers in identifying and managing their operational risks while meeting their ever increasing regulatory requirements. This is achieved with a pragmatic and common-sense approach aligned with an understanding of what your business is trying to achieve and what could stand in your way. We collaborate with your existing leadership and teams, assist in prioritising conflicting demands and deliver on-going improvements in areas that will help your business realise its strategy, rather than just being a box-ticking exercise where the minimum is achieved. The key is to enable and empower all parts of your organisation to make risk-informed decisions while providing assurance to your stakeholders that appropriate and proportionate risk management is in place to protect, but also support your business. Services that can be provided, either individually or as bundles of work, include: • Provision of risk management contract resource (on a full or part-time basis); • Risk management training (development and delivery of training programmes); • Delivery of a documented Emerging Risk approach; • Preparation ahead of Due Diligence Reviews; • Facilitation of risk management workshops (in order to develop Risk Registers / RCSAs); • Reviews of risk management processes; • ICAAP / ICARA Operational Risk Scenario Workshops; • Reviews of existing Risk Framework, Risk Appetite Statements or risk management processes; • Advice on incorporating climate change risk into your existing Risk Framework; • Guidance and support with regards to Operational Resilience arrangements; and • Bespoke research (i.e. risk management practices, impacts of regulatory or industry changes, climate change risk and ESG processes).
