Start-up social enterprise that reuses Sydney’s old computers through establishing a network of community centres and making technology more accessible to socio-economically disadvantaged people. Vision Our mission is to create a local, independent not-for-profit that operates an e-waste management scheme that includes re-use and recycling. To begin, our goal is to make our university, UNSW Australia, 100% e-waste free. Operations Summary eReuse offers a very comprehensive solution to minimising e-waste. We offer members of UNSW a means of disposing their old electronics. We accept everything from computer components to peripheral devices to entire computer consoles regardless of their age and usability. To minimise e-waste, we reuse donated components by refurbishing usable parts into fully working computers which we sell off to community centres for marginal prices to afford disadvantaged individuals the chance to have access to computers.
