We are a community of creative misfits We don't always play well with others and we color outside the lines and we enjoy our mischievous tendencies. We are a cult-a commune, although we represent many races and cultures, WE never really fit in where we are supposed to, but we are always clever enough to get by. We are an idea born from the mind of pioneer graffiti artist Erni Vales, who in 1993 changed the face of graffiti when he created the first 3D styled piece. Vales, a self-taught artist, earned how to design bars and nightclubs. His credits include the collaboration of several legendary photo sets with photographer David LaChapelle. Vales has created thousands or original pieces throughout his 25 year career. In the 80s, Vales created the Newave Cru, a close knit graffiti crew that was dedicated to pushing the limits of conventional style beyond the norm. EvlWorld is the reincarnation of that mentality.
