In 1944, serial inventor Earl Ernst and his two brothers set out to revolutionize the post-harvest process in what they coined The Ernst Automatic Way. Using Earl’s unique roll sizer, the brothers helped their farmers “wash, grade, and sack” more tons per hour than before, while creating cost and time savings. The brothers proudly changed the industry's efficiency standards while boasting that “all inquiries are handled promptly and courteously.” Today, Ernst continues to enhance the post-harvest processes in support of its farmers.
