Escuela Romera

Escuela Romera is a Pilot School Project for the Children of Taxco el Viejo will pioneer a system that develops young children's academic classrooms skills while nurturing their cognitive, social and technical abilities through creative workshops such as craft, painting, drawing, sculpting, drama and sustainable farming. The curriculum is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach which is based on the principles of respect, responsibility, and community through exploration and discovery. Under this approach, children are viewed as active, capable and valuable members of the community. They are encouraged to explore, question, and interpret the world, creating a solid ethical foundation of experiences that aims to encourage creative thinking and expression while igniting a love for learning.
