Esi Archamps

ESI is a CERN supported Institute, which provides significant support in the form of faculty, computing resources, etc. to develop thematic schools on the three main fields of expertise of CERN, which are: accelerators, detectors and computing. ESI is located at Archamps Technopole on the French side of the border from Geneva, Switzerland, just 15-20 minutes from Geneva’s international airport and train station. ESI’s schools principally target an international audience of post-graduate students (MSc, PhD) and young professionals working in research institutes, hospitals or industry. Since its creation, ESI has provided high level teaching and training for approximately young scientists from over 30 countries from the European Union, Eastern Europe, the Mediterranean basin and the Near-East.
