NATEM provides least-cost optimization of the entire energy economy and can capture the complex competition for resources inherent to decarbonization strategies. For additional insights, NATEM results can be enriched with ESMIA’s dynamic macroeconomic model (NAGEM), hourly electricity planning and load forecasting model (NATEM-Power), and consumer-centric energy rates model (RateVision). With the flexibility and depth of our modelling capabilities, ESMIA is able to provide a wide range of energy and climate policy investigations at the city, regional, provincial/state, and federal levels.
