Esn Belgium

Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is the biggest student association in Europe. It was born on the 16th October 1989 and legally registered in 1990 for supporting and developing student exchange. We are present in more than 800 Higher Education Institutions from 39 countries. The network is constantly developing and expanding. We have around active members that are in many sections supported by so called buddies mainly taking care of international students.Thus, ESN involves around young people offering its services to around international students every year. Erasmus Student Network Belgium (ESN Belgium) is a non-profit student organisation representing local ESN sections (local associations). Our mission is to foster student mobility in Higher Education, provide opportunities for cultural understanding and self-development under the principle of Students Helping Students. ESN Belgium aims at working in the interest of students who are spending parts of or their entire formal education at a higher education institution in Belgium and currently counts 18 sections in 11 different cities.
