Esn Mesa Erasmus Student Network

The Munich Erasmus Students Association (MESA e.V.) is an association founded by former Erasmus students studying at LMU Munich. We’re a group of volunteer students and are around 50 members. Not only do we assist Erasmus students studying at LMU, but we also help integrate all international students of other local universities. Many of us have been abroad and some of us have taken part in an Erasmus exchange. We help students settle in Munich, organize events and want them to have as great of an experience as we had. ESN MESA is also a part of the International Erasmus Student Network (ESN), the biggest student association in Europe. ESN is working on the creation of a more mobile and flexible education environment by supporting and developing student exchange and providing intercultural experience. ESN is working in Higher Education (HE)- present in more than 515 Higher Education Institutions from 45 countries - offering services to students - 13.500 active members - mainly on a volunteer basis - with an average annual growth rate of 12% since 2005 Vision? By 2025, ESN will be the global network of the Erasmus Generation, committed to improving international education and providing self-development opportunities to two million young people, fostering intercultural understanding and creating positive change in society.
