Esprit International School

Esprit International School is an independent, non-sectarian school with a diverse student population enrolling children ages 18m - High School. The School’s philosophy is inspired by the educational thought of Dr. Maria Montessori, and the models for the classrooms and for the development learning materials were created by her. The School continues her work in developmental psychology and education, yet incorporates components of the learning premises of a number of leading educational theorists including Jean Piaget, Eric Ericson, Les Vgotsky and Eric Jensen. The child and his or her needs are the central and commanding focus of the learning process at Esprit. It is the role of the teacher and of the school to observe, to know and to support the child as he or she proceeds through their stages of development. Each child has unlimited possibilities and the future rests on our ability to cultivate this potential.
