Esquilo Corp is an Austin, TX-based startup that seeks to simplify the way makers and developers create connected things. We are incorporated in Delaware as a C corporation. We believe the community needs development platforms that bridge the gap between simple boards like Arduino and complex Linux-based systems to enable developers to create rich, network-enabled applications with ease and without cloud dependencies. Founded by Scott Shumate and Patrick Jackson in June 2014 applying their nearly 40 years of combined experience in networking and embedded systems to their passion for creating connected devices for their homes.
