Since 2012, Eterna Movement SA has manufactured revolutionary, high-quality movements as an independent watch movement manufacturer. The foundation of Eterna Movement SA draws on a history of over 150 years of the watch company Eterna SA, a “manufacture” also responsible for giving rise to the company ETA. Key milestones in the history of Eterna Movement SA already include the recently developed, ball-bearing-mounted “Spherodrive” barrel design and the Caliber 39 family, from which over 88 different movement versions can be produced. The name Eterna Movement is synonymous with products of the highest quality, a continuation of the long tradition of Swiss watchmaking and a formidable spirit of innovation. The unrelenting and passionate desire to conquer watchmaking challenges as well as constantly improve the existing norm has always been the driving force behind Eterna Movement SA.
