Etf Institute

The Frankfurt based ETF Institute (“ETFI”) is an industry association serving the needs of European Exchange Traded Fund Sponsors. The ETFI serves the ETF investment industry as its non-partisan central databank and clearinghouse. Specifically, the ETFI collects, processes, validates and then re-disseminates detailed security level information on ETF shares listed on European exchanges. ETFI’s primary mission is to create a central European data depositary which will serve as a backbone to enable the ETF industry to more effectively promote a better understanding of ETF investing to portfolio managers, financial intermediaries and private investors. The ETFI will use its data aggregation, normalization and redistribution capabilities to coordinate and support its founding member’s involvement in the entire process of investor education, data collection and information reporting.
