EthCo is an ethanol distillery, a pioneer producer of Fuel Ethanol and Industrial Ethanol in Malawi. The Company is also the sole producer of Food Grade Ethanol and other derivatives of ethanol in the value chain. Our ambition is to be a world class innovative company that employs strategic and competitive intelligence to provide premium ethanol and allied products using fit for purpose and efficient equipment, processes and technology for the benefit of all stakeholders. Over the 40 years of our existence, we have maintained a people centred innovative culture in the Company thereby enabling us to adopt and adapt new technologies in line with the ever changing business environment, all the while respond to the needs of our stakeholders and continuously creating shared value for the society. We are a wholly Malawian owned Company with the current shareholding comprising Malawi’s big conglomerate Press Corporation Limited, NBM Pensions and Benefits Fund and Illovo’s Dwangwa Sugar Corporation.
