Ether Project was founded in 2022 by art curator and consultant Yash Vikram as a nomadic platform dedicated to fostering artistic communities beyond metropolitan art centres. Rooted in the ethos of accessibility and experimentation, Ether Project presents contemporary art beyond conventional spaces while amplifying the voices of emerging and underrepresented South Asian artists. Through exhibitions, programs, and collaborations, Ether Project functions as an incubator for diverse practices spanning varied media and forms. It challenges traditional modes of exhibition making and perception, creating encounters that invite both new and seasoned audiences to engage critically and intuitively with art.
