Introducing Guernsey’s newest architectural practice, launched in January 2018. I’d like to introduce myself so that you can get to know a little bit about the person behind Evans Architecture. My name is Silvie and I am the owner of Evans Architecture. I have been in the construction industry for nearly 10 years, having graduated from the University of Brighton in 2009. I have worked with a few Architects practices since graduating, gaining some valuable experience in the construction industry. I have had the pleasure of being involved in a range of projects, including new build domestic projects, extensions and house refurbishments for private clients. We all know how stressful carrying out any work to your house can be, so Evans Architecture strive to provide an efficient and informative service to any home owner, with an approachable and welcoming experience. Evans Architecture can provide architectural services for any home owner, including delivering design solutions, carrying out a measured survey and preparing drawings to submit to the Environment Department in order to apply for planning approvals and building licences. If the approvals are successful and once they are all in place, Evans Architecture can advise on the methods of procurement and forms of contract and can assist you through the tendering process in order to find the right builder to suit your budget. Evans Architecture is also qualified in administrating the contract and project certification when the works are on site, therefore providing a range of services.
