The Evidence-to-Impact Collaborative (EIC) at Penn State connects cutting-edge research with the people and institutions who can put it into action. Our mission is to strengthen the link between science and society—helping policymakers, practitioners, and communities use evidence to improve lives. We partner with governments, organizations, and industry to design innovative tools, build infrastructure, and create pathways that make evidence accessible, actionable, and sustainable. From driving technology-enabled solutions, launching evidence-based practices and building research-to-policy pipelines, the EIC accelerates the translation of knowledge into measurable impact. Rooted in Penn State’s land-grant mission, the EIC serves as a hub for faculty, staff, and students to engage beyond the university. We bring together interdisciplinary teams, external partners, and decision-makers to solve pressing social challenges, strengthen public systems, and support healthier futures. Together, we’re reimagining how universities can transform evidence into impact. The EIC is a center of the Social Science Research Institute supported by the College of Health & Human Development.
