Eviltux Blog Exploring Open Source Emerging Tech

Our Origin: Evil Tux is Tux’s brother in the open source game SuperTuxKart. A community addition, he is an homage to Wario from the Super Mario Bros. ™ games. Inspired by the open source game SuperTuxKart, our lead editor coined the name “Evil Tux”. While it may carry a mischievous undertone, we transformed it into a positive symbol and built our core values around it: endeavor, vision, innovation, and leadership. These principles guide our commitment to delivering impactful content to our audiences. Our Story: The Evil Tux blog was established in 2023, a project initiated by a team from the Linux Foundation. Its creation was driven by a simple yet impactful goal: to share knowledge on emerging open source technologies. As part of the Linux Foundation, we access expertise from industry-leading professionals- subject matter experts spearheading advancements in the open source domain. You quite literally get root access to the future and you can’t get any closer to open source than that.
