Scholars, professionals, community leaders, and activists committed to advancing social justice come together to develop practical approaches that serve specific needs. We believe in the practical application of scientific knowledge, research, and evidence to help others and improve the world, we emphasize democratic practices and cooperation, and we value quality of life for all humans and the non-human environment, now and for future generations.
