Evolve Skate Camp

Evolve Skate Camp is a summer camp that teaches beginner, intermediate and advanced skateboarding camp lessons to campers age 6 – 16. Our day camp program has been carefully designed by our directors and focuses on improving camper’s fundamental skills, balance, coordination and style. Our staff of instructors teach skateboarding lessons within safe limits in a step by step method. Evolve Skate Camp employs a “challenge by choice” philosophy, which means we never force anyone to do something they’re not comfortable doing. Instead we offer the challenge, its there for the taking. At Evolve Skate Camp, the mornings are spent in a group setting practicing fundamental skateboarding skills. Our coaches are seasoned skateboarders who methodically take Evolve campers through each step of their skateboarding development. After lunch, campers are given time to work on the tricks they are trying to master. Under the supervision of our staff stationed throughout the skatepark, campers begin to challenge themselves and each other by working on improvements through repetition. Our coaches are on hand to work with campers to correct flaws and to accelerate learning. We know that it’s nearly impossible to skate all day. That’s why we have lots of other programs at Evolve to keep campers revved up. On days where there is a swimming pool on site, we offer swimming for 1-2 hours in the afternoon. Swimming is supervised by pool lifeguards. From time to time guest pro coaches show up at camp to help instruct campers and to give away other swag or prizes.
