Excelsior Milano is the luxury department store located in Milan and Verona. A project based on cross contamination of fashion, food and design, conceived for a sophisticated, cosmopolite fashion-oriented customer. MILANO STORE Excelsior Milano is a unique shopping destination, an exclusive and innovative luxury department store designed by star architect Jean Nouvel and Vincenzo de Cotiis Spanning seven floors, it is defined by a contemporary and eye-catching design featuring artsy video installations that show a sophisticated journey through the worlds of fashion, high-tech and fine foods. On the ground floor, a new-generation bar overlooks the bustling Galleria del Corso while the Avery Perfume Gallery is an olfactory experience that stirs the senses. A new concept in niche perfumery the gallery offers an itinerary of exclusive scents framed by sweeping curtains and modern installations that ooze a latter-day opulence. Here the selection spans legacy and currency with both international and household names - Etro, Lorenzo Villoresi and Acqua di Stresa with its whiffs of the Mediterranean, plus the Scandinavian atmospheres of Agonist, Azagury, Boadicea the Victorious and the I love NY line for a bottle-up slice of the Big Apple. The floor also houses a Tiffany & Co. shop-in-shop, the first in Italy inside a multibrand store, luxury cake and pastry store Ladurée, an area dedicated to books, gadgets and technology, plus Aveda. The basement is dedicated to Cargo with its assortment of high-tech tableware, design pieces and utensils showcased in stall-like displays. VERONA STORE In 2013 Excelsior Milano opened its second store in Verona, the third largest city municipality of Northeast Italy and one of the main tourist Italian destinations. A unique space for the city in the very central via Mazzini transformed into a high- profile metropolitan shopping location thanks to the architectural and interior design project by Aldo Cibic and Vincenzo De Cotiis.
