I help post-secondary leaders fix Facilities Management by fixing the system around it. Across higher education, Facilities Management is essential but structurally misunderstood. It is often positioned downstream, governed inconsistently, and expected to perform strategically inside systems it did not design. The result is familiar: chronic firefighting, reactive work, rising costs, stalled initiatives, and declining credibility. Through Executive FM, I help institutions break that cycle. My work focuses on diagnosing the real causes of FM underperformance: organizational positioning, maturity gaps, unclear decision rights, and misaligned service models. From there, we redesign the system so Facilities Management can operate predictably, sustainably, and in service of institutional priorities. FM problems rarely require more effort. They require clearer structures, better decisions, and a shared understanding of what is actually broken.
