At ExoDAO Network, we aim to decentralize web search towards more privacy and less censorship compared to Big Tech. We believe that free access to diverse sources of information, along with inclusion and privacy, are essential for an open and democratic society. This is not possible with the current search paradigms. That's why we're reimagining search. Our approach includes a range of search models that go beyond a linear list of top hits. Instead of a universal model, we propose a variety, including an expressive language based on predicate logic for power users. We replace proprietary and opaque rankings with a user-selectable range of open algorithms that are fully open source, community-driven, and transparent. We're also breaking away from costly and energy-consuming data centers and moving towards a new model for data processing based on decentralization and user participation. By doing this, we're freeing search from its dependence on advertising, enabling it to focus on its primary objective: helping users discover information.
