Every participant will receive a certificate for continuing education corresponding with length of class Advanced Practice Skills Workshop, specializes in providing hands on skill workshops for the advanced practice provider, nurse practitioners, medical students, nurse practitioner students, at any level. We offer: Suturing: various techniques Intra-articular joint injections: Shoulder, knee, & wrist Plantar fasciitis injection Carpal tunnel injection Incision & Drainage Digital Block Occipital nerve blocks Corneal Abrasion Foreign bodies of the Eye Safe Opioid Prescribing Workshops provide powerpoint education of each skill which includes: Clinical indication, contra-indication, side effects/potential complications, and billing codes. Each skill is demonstrated by the instructor for the attendees and then practiced one on one with each participant. In recognition of ever changing laws and regulations, we have included education on safe opioid prescribing. We welcome all skill levels as a way to share clinical pearls and help each provider stay at the top of their game. Be sure to select the correct class and location that best fits your needs.
