Since the company’s incorporation, the following assignments have been successfully completed: MAY ’13 – DEC ‘13: INTERIM DIRECTOR OF PROCUREMENT, HAMPSHIRE HOSPITALS NHS TRUST Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the main achievements included: • Obtaining Board level approval to restructure & increase the size of the team • Managing a successful restructure of the existing team (18 people) as well as leading the recruitment of the permanent Associate Director of Procurement (start date November 2013) • Developing a short & medium Procurement strategy for the Trust & obtaining sign off at Board level • Increasing the profile of Procurement with Senior members of the Trust • Developing the outline sourcing plan for FY14/15 across £80m of spend FEB ’13 - MAY ’13: INTERIM HEAD OF PROCUREMENT, BRIGHTON & SUSSEX UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the main achievements included: • Developing the sourcing plan for FY13/14 across c£120m spend & obtaining sign off at Board level • Preparing a quick win sourcing strategy targeting savings from the top 20 suppliers which delivered in excess of 8% • Completing an interim restructure of the existing team (30 people) to focus resource to deliver the best results • Work with senior management to increase the profile of Procurement within the organisation
