Express Post Ltd. was established in 1997 for the performance of early-morning home delivery of periodicals. In the reception of subscriptions for periodicals and full administration of subscribers database were added. Operation was started in Tartu. As of today, the Express Post Ltd. home delivery has expanded to Tallinn, the Harju County and Pärnu. Within one month Express Post Ltd. delivers to the readers’ homes 3,2 million copies of periodical publications, having approximately a 45% market share of the home delivery of periodicals. All bigger Estonian publishing houses are using the Express Post Ltd. early-morning home delivery services, reception services of subscriptions and database administrative services, in addition many smaller publishing houses. All in all, Express Post Ltd. provides services for 29 different publishing houses. Starting from 2002, the home delivery of advertising materials (with and without an address) was started. Within four years Express Post Ltd. has become the second bigger in this field after Estonian Post Ltd.
