Established in 1976, Shingora Textiles Limited is a vertical textile manufacturing company. The Shingora Family Foundation contributes money from every meter sold to the education of underprivileged girls. Keeping with our agile and innovative nature, Shingora added a technical fabric division to our exiting textiles business during the first Covid lockdown in March 2020. We were one of the first to develop and get approval for the then much required PPE suits. We supplied suits to HLL in 2020. Below is the list of products we have now made and are ready to showcase/make trail samples. NIR - Near Infra Red Camouflage fabrics and print capability for any fabric that be used in the battlefield including tents; nets etc. This can be adapted very well for the new uniform launched by the Indian Army. PCM - Phase Change Materials is very new for India and performance fabrics in India. We are currently undertaking a joint r&d project with IIT Ropar on this and will have the first product ready in 4 months time. ECWCS - Extreme Cold Weather Clothing System has been developed and submitted as a part of the RFQ by the Indian Army and is currently in trial stages with the army. This has been developed with benchmarking based on the uniform worn by the United States Army and Nato Armies. Our product is lighter, more durable and better performing than the current products in use by the Indian Army (we have relevant lab tests for the same).
