Exceed develops a novel technology for the extraction of sunflower protein and gives solution to the the Protein Gap in Food Production. We use the circular economy approach to by-products to generate more value-added and sustainably sourced materials. Starting with the input of the by product – presscake, currently underutilized and sold as animal food, it is rich in sunflower protein. Our 3-layer innovation manages to upgrade the classical approach of extraction, to utilize even more protein and to give microbial solution - we create protein of the non protein part of the by-product. Тhe distinctive feature of the sunflower protein in comparison with other plant-based solutions is that it has the best amino acid profile because it contains all the essential amino acids in high degree and in balances proportions.
