Exstent

Exstent develops ExoVasc, a personalised external support for the aortic root. ExoVasc is designed to support the management of aortic root dilatation. It is placed around the ascending aorta to provide external support to the patient’s own aorta and aortic valve, with the aim of stabilising the vessel and limiting further progression of dilatation. More than 1,600 patients worldwide have received an ExoVasc implant. The procedure is supported by over 5,500 patient-years of follow-up, with clinical experience extending beyond two decades. Exstent focuses on informed treatment choice, long-term durability, and transparent clinical discussion. Our work supports clinicians and patients in considering ExoVasc as an alternative approach within the surgical management of aortic root disease.
