Based on Materials Science and Engineering, the multi-disciplinary combination of our researchers and associates creates cutting-edge technology for national and international markets. We develop physically and chemically controlled surfaces in macro, micro and nanometer dimensions, capable of attracting bio-ions and regulating gene expression of cells involved in the process of bone tissue formation. Our solution combines bioactive, osteoinductive and osteoconductive properties, stimulating physiological processes to produce high quality osseointegration. Due to our deep knowledge in surface engineering and industrial process, Extremus can also help implant manufacturers from characterizing and improving existing surfaces to developing completely new ones. Our solutions are developed and implemented in a way that allows the surface treatment to be done in the manufacturer facilities.
