Eyecare Essentials

Conveniently located within the Shops at the Galleria, Eyecare Essentials is locally owned by Dr. Nolan Barit, Therapeutic Optometrist. He provides Optometric services for all ages including routine eye exams, contact lens evaluations, emergency eye care, treatment for eye infections, allergies, dry eyes, evaluations for cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration, LASIK consultations and care. Dr. Barit's specialty is custom contact fittings for toric lenses, gas permeables, bifocal contacts and first time users. Our staff provides informative and punctual customer service in an inviting atmosphere. The newly designed Optical is sophisticated and modern with a selection of over 500 glasses for men, women, and children including sunglasses. We carry the latest eye wear fashions, sports and safety glasses, plus frames that are light weight, durable, and rimless. Quality lenses are available including Varilux, Transitions and Crizal. We strongly believe in giving back to the community and continuously host our Gift of Sight Program, provide donations and sponsorship for numerous philanthropic activities of libraries, schools and other local organizations.
