eyeMole™ is developing a state-of-the-art melanoma screening technology and related software solutions that will revolutionize this medical process through advanced tele-dermatology techniques. eyeMole’s goal is to empower dermatologists with a readily available and easy to perform automated screening procedure, providing tangible benefits to hospitals, health funds, dermatologists and, most important, to people with a medium to high risk of contacting melanoma. Indeed, the risk from melanoma is well documented; suffice it to say that one person dies of melanoma almost every hour. On the other hand, the survival rate for patients whose melanoma is detected early is about 99 percent.
