Super Recognisers are people who ‘never forget a face’. It is an innate ability they are born with. Super Recognisers are academically identified by the University of Greenwich as representing around 1% of the population. According to Professor Josh Davis, who leads the research into Super Recognition, Kelly Desborough's testing scores are the highest recorded out of over seven million people who have taken the online testing. Super Recognisers are used in both public and private sectors. There are a variety of areas in which Kelly works, including live deployments with the police and private security operations to spot known subjects, live/post-event CCTV analysis, image identifications and comparisons. Kelly is the most experienced civilian Super Recogniser globally.
