Fictional Artists’ Contemporary Theatre/San Francisco (FACT/SF), founded by Charles Slender in 2008, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dance company which contributes directly to the artistic and intellectual wealth of the San Francisco Bay Area. FACT/SF’s primary mission is to create highly professional and rigorously crafted performance events which encourage viewers to both feel intensely and think critically; our aim is to challenge all audience members to think in new ways and to broaden their perspectives. By performing and touring frequently for diverse audiences, we increase the visibility and viability of the performing arts, stretching its boundaries and ensuring its survival.
