Fair Game Australia is a health promotion charity with an innovative approach to reducing inequality for under-serviced Australians via the donation of recycled sports equipment, delivery of health and fitness sessions. We are a DGR charity with an award-winning grass-roots volunteer-based organisation making significant impact for thousands of Aboriginal and CALD Australians each year across remote and urban communities. Values: Fit & Healthy Communities Inspiration & Education Teamwork & Leadership Sustainability & Recycling Target Populations: Indigenous Australians, CALD Communities (migrants, refugees), Low SES Australians, Mental Health Sufferers, Chronic Disease Sufferers, Adolescent Females Objectives: • To reduce waste, improve access to sports equipment and allow sustainable access to physical activity through the provision of recycled sports equipment • To improve participation in sport resulting in increased social capital and improved long term health outcomes. • Utilise collaboration to build sustainable and strategic partnerships • Reduction in communicable disease via a holistic approach combining fitness and health education • To build cultural awareness, understanding and foster relationships between young Australians of diverse backgrounds • To ensure geographical location is not a barrier to accessibility of healthy lifestyle choices • To build the capacity of communities to promote healthy lifestyles choices and live healthier lives
