Fairfield County Ems
Fairfield County EMS is an ALS rural county 911 service. We operate 6 ambulances from 6 substations throughout the county with an annual call volume of approximately calls. We are proud to offer a 24/72-hour schedule and bi-monthly in-house CE training. On every unit you will find: LifePak 35 series monitor, Lucas CPR devices, EZ-IO, Stryker power stretchers with power loads, tracked stair chairs, IV pumps, AirTraq video laryngoscopy, vent, and pediatric readiness capabilities. We also utilize Handtevy, an RSI program, and have nitrous oxide capabilities. One thing that sets us apart is our ability to carry extrication equipment. Our light-duty rescues also carry rope rescue equipment. We have 2 Rescue Trucks equipped with extrication tools, airbags, ropes, hand tools, and cribbing. Extrication training is offered to every employee with Fairfield EMS but is not required.
