Fairmount Technologies, LLC is the developer of the revolutionary Stretch Roll Forming (SRF) technology that will challenge conventional methods, offer significant benefits, have a resounding impact on multiple manufacturing industries, and change preferred methods of custom forming discrete metal parts. Primary customers for SRF include aircraft manufacturers, as the technology was developed based on a need in this industry, which has been historically very strong in the local economy. SRF technology additionally, has practical application potential whenever metal needs to be bent or formed within high-strength, low variance standards. It will improve the durability and fatigue life cycle of produced parts while reducing the cost of manufacturing, and shortens the lead time of design to manufacture The Company is a Wichita State University based technology start-up. Funding for the development of SRF has come through the Defense Logistics Agency’s SBIR program. The company is seeking development partnership in various industrial markets.
