Fairtrade Korea is the national office of Fairtrade International in South Korea. Founded in 1997, Fairtrade International is a non-profit, multi-stakeholder organization made up of three producers’ networks (Africa and the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America and the Caribbean) and 33 offices in Fairtrade consumer countries. Its headquarters are in Bonn, Germany. Fairtrade changes the way trade works by ensuring better prices, decent working conditions, and fairer deals for over 2 million small-scale farmers and workers in more than 75 producing countries.
