Family Educational Services

The mission of Family Educational Services, LLC (FES) is to provide comprehensive educational and therapeutic services to individuals in the home and community. FES will support healthy family relationships, positive self-empowerment, and community responsibility. FES is committed to providing effective and efficient services to all clients. FES provides in-home/intensive in-home, counseling, advocacy, supervised visitation, mentoring, and employment assistance services to individuals and families of the City of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County. All employees of FES provide services to and interact with clients with respect and dignity. FES supports self-empowerment to encourage clients to become self-sufficient and responsible members of their community. FES utilizes a combination of educational and clinical strategies to meet the needs of clients. The design of FES fosters opportunities for clients and staff to interact in non-threatening environments that allow both direct and indirect educational and therapeutic interactions including: education, modeling, counseling, observations, and supervision of clients, their families and involved professionals in a variety of settings such as, the FES office environment, classroom, home and community.
