WHY FAPEF? With its immense resources and growing growth in several countries, Africa is today for many experts the African continent of the future. Obstacles are legion and persist, but hope is stronger than ever. Africa is now seen by multinationals and leading investors as an opportunity, a breeding ground for entrepreneurial opportunities. It is no longer rare that the best business magazines in the world devote their pages to the economic potential of African countries and to fashionable entrepreneurs. However, the economic and financial press occupies a derisory place on the continent. Initiated by journalist and events promoter Michel Russel Lohoré, the FAPEF (African Economic and Financial Press Forum) is the first major African meeting devoted to economic and financial journalism. The FAPEF aims to be a reference forum for the promotion of economic and financial journalism in Africa. The event aims to promote exchanges and debates around the development press, to develop training, to contribute to a greater circulation of economic and financial information, to increase the economic and financial culture of the populations.
