With over a decade of experience as the founder and owner of Farm Urbana, Ruth Meghiddo leads in ecological urban farming and regenerative design. Holding master’s degrees in architecture and urban design from UCLA and the University of Rome, Italy, as well as credentials as a licensed architect in California and certified permaculture consultant, Ruth brings a robust foundation to this mission. Farm Urbana's vision is to bridge nature and urban living, fostering sustainable, resilient communities through a unique approach: Urban Farming by Design. This innovative hybrid business model blends organic, productive farming with the urban lifestyle, seamlessly integrating nature into our daily environments. This model benefits the environment and enriches communities, enabling climate adaptation and cultivating a collective purpose.
