The founder, Hossein Farmani, is a creative director, gallerist, exhibition curator, philanthropist and founder and president of the Lucie Awards in New York. Mr. Farmani has curated and helped to organize over 200 photographic exhibitions and his passion for photography has taken him to all corners of the world. For the last 20 years he has been lecturing at universities and colleges, sharing his appreciation of photography with the next generation. Lucie Foundation Lucie Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization whose three-tiered mission is to honour master photographers, discover and cultivate emerging talent, and promote the appreciation of photography worldwide.
