Farmarcade
Farmarcade is committed to fostering sustainable agricultural practices while addressing food security challenges on both local and global scales. Core to our mission is the empowerment of smallholder farmers, particularly women and youth, recognizing their pivotal role in driving agricultural productivity and economic development in Africa. By working with smallholder farmers, Farmarcade facilitates learning, access to resources, and adoption of sustainable agricultural practices to maximize crop yields and promote environmental sustainability. Operating in Northern Ghana, our primary target crops include maize, soybean, rice, millet, beans, cowpea, pepper, and shea, each chosen for their significance in local diets and economic potential and largely cultivated by smallholder farmers. Overall, our goal is to be a leader in the production and value addition of these crops, setting new standards for sustainability, quality, and social impact in the agricultural sector. Through our partnerships with smallholder farmers, we aim to not only meet the food security needs of Africa but also contribute to the broader global food supply.
